On Thursday, July 22, 2021 Vancouver International Airport turned 90 years old! This day marks 90 years of YVR connecting B.C. proudly to the world. It is a great day to highlight things that were crucial to YVR’s history over the last 90 year by focusing on 90 major points in the story of YVR. While we are still living in the pandemic, it didn’t seem quite the time to have an in-person celebration and party.

Therefore we wanted to focus on how we can celebrate with our community and followers via our social channels. For the focus of the graphics of the 90th birthday celebrations, I began by pushing the 90 envelope and explored a ‘90s theme while using the YVR brand colours.
