A project of mine for some time has been to convert all my old handwritten travel journals into coffee table style books. Part of this was a way for me to combine all the images I was taking with all my daily entries, so that when I go back to read my entries to reminisce and remember what I did a specific day it would be paired with the photos I had taken. As part of the project I also wanted to include graphics, markers, infographics, maps, and any other notes of the places I visited to remind me more of my trip.

France & Italy 2011 was the first trip I took overseas (and without my parents) at 17 years old and the first travel journal I kept. It is very much written in a “we did this then this…” style, but I is cool to see how my tracking and writing evolved over the years and over different trips. I look forward to finishing and sharing the rest of them when they are complete!
