Prehistoric Tours

Prehistoric Tours

Designed for a friend’s new tour company out in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Done in a similar style that I had done in the past, as per request from client.

Most of the fossils found out in PEI are from the Permian Period, which was the last period during Palaeozoic Era around 299 million years ago to 252 million years ago. Therefore she wanted to focus on the Dimetrodon, a prehistoric reptile that roamed around before the dinosaurs did.

Developed for the project was the logo and multiple illustrations, including:
- A Dimetrodon
- Globe of the Permian Period and were PEI was located at the time.
- Geological Timescale, putting extra focus on the Permian Period and showcasing a prehistoric creature from each period.
- Permian Period landscape illustration showing the swampy lands and with the Walchia tree and ferns and the Dimetrodons roaming around.
